Re-cords

We are the only service company on the East coast that can repair and re-cord cantilever umbrellas at your home.

Re-cording the umbrellas is the most common service we provide. If your umbrella won't open, it's very likely because the cord snapped. All replacement umbrella cords supplied by our technicians are made exclusively for us and exceed manufacturers' recommendations.

* We offer a warranty that no one else provides: for residential use, we have a limited warranty on our cord for the life of the umbrella. For commercial use, we have a limited warranty on our cord for three years.

Types of Patio Umbrellas:

Market style umbrellas sit in the middle of your patio table.

Cantilever umbrellas bend to hang over the table.

Tilt mechanisms:

Auto-tilt umbrellas tilt when you continue cranking the handle after the umbrella is open.

Collar-tilt umbrellas tilt when you turn the round collar above the crank handle.

Manual-tilt umbrellas tilt when you push a button located halfway up the pole.

Rarely, a market style umbrella may not tilt at all.

 

Sorry, we can't repair weather damaged umbrellas.

Care and Maintenance

Keep your umbrella working great with these easy tips:

• Always close the umbrella when left unattended.
• Close and secure the umbrella during windy conditions.
• Do not force the umbrella open. If you meet resistance, fluff the canopy.
• Place your free-standing umbrella on a level surface.
• Use an umbrella cover to keep the canopy cleaner.
• You can remove and wash the canopy, but never put it in the dryer – it will shrink. Place the wet canopy back on the umbrella frame.
• Use mild detergent to clean the frame and canopy. Hose down thoroughly.
